OpenTheRank ("we", "the Site") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
OpenTheRank is a static informational website. We do not operate user accounts, require registration, accept user submissions, or process payments.
We collect minimal information necessary to operate the Site:
We do not collect names, email addresses, payment information, or any other personal data unless you voluntarily contact us. If you email us, we hold your message and address only for as long as it takes to answer it.
If you sign in with Google to keep a watchlist, we store the Google account identifier, your name, email address and profile picture, the products you watch and the comparison settings you choose for them. Sign-in uses a session cookie (otr_session) that is essential to the feature and expires after 30 days of inactivity. We do not send email unless you turn alerts on.
You can sign out from the account menu at any time, which revokes every session. Deleting your account removes your profile and every watch immediately; there is no retention copy.
The Site uses analytics cookies or similar browser storage set by Google Analytics and PostHog to measure visits and understand how pages are used. We also display ads through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this Site or other websites, and Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve personalized or non-personalized ads to you. You can opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. We do not sell your personal data or run affiliate tracking cookies.

OpenTheRank does not use affiliate links or referral tracking. Clicking through to a storefront, a vendor, or any other product listed here generates no commission and no tracking data for us, and we have no financial relationship with any of the products, stores, or services covered on this Site. Outbound links exist so that a figure can be checked at its source, not to route a sale.
Server logs are retained for a limited period for security purposes and are then deleted. We do not retain personal data beyond what is technically necessary.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold. Since we collect minimal data, most requests can be addressed by simply not using the Site, by opting out of personalized advertising through the links in section 3, or by using your browser's controls for cookies and site data.
